American College Testing

The American College Testing (ACT) is another widely recognized standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. Like the SAT, it assesses your readiness for college and measures academic skills and knowledge. The ACT consists of four main sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. It also includes an optional Writing section, which some colleges may require for admission.

Similar to the SAT, the ACT is offered multiple times a year, giving students the flexibility to choose a test date that aligns with their college application timeline. Colleges often consider a student's highest ACT composite score when evaluating their applications.

The ACT is recognized by many colleges and universities across the United States and is widely accepted as an alternative to the SAT. Some students may choose to take both the SAT and ACT to showcase their strengths and maximize their chances of admission to their preferred institutions.
