The launch of Heritage Fellowships

InterGlobe Foundation recently launched InterGlobe HERITAGE Fellowships to encourage researchers, journalists, architects, and others to bring previously undocumented aspects of Indian culture to light and raise awareness of our heritage. Four applicants will be selected and awarded INR 1,50,000 each, and the fellowship will last for three months from November 1, 2022.


 
Students are heading abroad again; Post-COVID

Universities reports show an increasing number of international student enrollment as the COVID-19 restrictions ease. In addition, the number sees a significant increase again after a pandemic-induced downturn. However, experts say it could still take years to return to previous levels.

Study in the UK: Chevening scholarship and fellowship application process begins

The application window for the UK government’s flagship Chevening scholarship and fellowship program is now open. It offers full financial support for a one-year master’s at any UK university and 8-12 week professional development courses, respectively.


 
India and the UK sign MoU for mutual recognition of academic Qualifications

The MoU undertakes to boost opportunities for students in the UK and India. Indian upper secondary qualifications will now be recognized as meeting entry requirements of higher education institutions in the UK. Furthermore, UK degrees are now formally recognized in India, allowing students to seek post-doctoral qualifications.


 
4 new work-study courses are to be launched in 2023 for poly and ITE grads

Enabling polytechnic and ITE graduates to gain industry-recognized qualifications with on-the-job training and classroom learning, The SkillsFuture work-study program is set to launch 4 new courses - Customer experience management, agriculture, and aquaculture technology, facilities management, and aerospace engineering.
